Located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, our shop provides 23,000 square feet of fabrication space. Drive-through bays are 40 feet by 80 feet with 15-ton overhead cranes having up to 22 feet of lift. This facilitates excellent workflow and ease of loading and unloading steel trucks in the fabrication bays. Bass Mechanical's fabrication staff and crew have many years of extensive experience in sheet metal, plate and structural steel fabrication, and our welders are AWS and ASME certified. Our shop personnel possess the abilities to fabricate and weld a variety of metals including carbon steel, aluminum, stainless, nickel alloy and AR plate (up to 500 grade). The fabrication shop capabilities include: machining CNC shearing 1/2-inch thick by l0-feet wide plates CNC press brake up to 230 tons CNC Strippit punching, pipe threading and beveling up to 4-inch diameter We also have a paint finishing booth with the conventional and air assisted paint systems and (2) two cut-to-length lines with the ability to cut 20-inch beams up to 60-foot long. Shop material handling capabilities include overhead cranes up to 15 ton, tow motors 5,000 lbs up to 15,000 lbs and flat bed trucks with up to 24-foot long beds.
