Bass would like to take the time to introduce to you our new President, Jeffrey Ream. Ream was recently brought into the Bass family effective May 8, 2018 to lead Bass and since, has been hitting the ground running on organizing and shaping Bass into even greater success as a business and an employer in Lancaster County.
“I am humbled and excited that Bass’ board members have entrusted me to lead their business forward. The entire team at Bass is poised and ready for the stabilization of the company, the growth of the business, and the challenges for success” said Ream. “My genuine, transparent, and servant leadership style will engage innovation and positive change throughout the organization without majorly disrupting the experience and success Bass has seen to date”.
Ream comes to Bass with 38 years of industry knowledge, previously working at a family-owned industrial contracting business also located in Lancaster County. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elizabethtown College and most recently completed his MBA/strategic management from Villanova University.
“I am blessed that I have been given many opportunities for personal and career growth throughout my previous tenure. This experience and knowledge, coupled with what I learned from my advanced education, has given me the tools to do something great for such a good organization” said Ream.
WHAT DO YOU WISH TO ACHIEVE AT BASS WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR?
“There is so much that I could say but I think fundamentally, I would like to achieve earning trust from the team. Trust that I will support, encourage, mentor, and grow the busines with them and for them.”
WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF BASS?
“Return home safely each day, be able to earn a nice living, prepare for retirement, and have a feeling of appreciation, satisfaction, and acknowledgement by the Bass team.”

“Never stop learning and engage.”
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT WORK?
“I enjoy hanging on my patio with friends and family with a bourbon, cigar, and music. Cooking, grilling, and some travel. Love the pacific northwest, and northeast.”
FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR?
“Definitely chocolate peanut butter. Reeses fiend here.”
“Different moods, different songs. Overall, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffet, Big Band.”
